Back to the drawing board, as it were. I've decided (with appreciated help) to use the proffered loan only as a last resort. Being aggressively sodomized should always be a last resort - unless you're in to that sort of thing...

So this weekend I'll start hitting the 'Special Credit' lots with the hope that I'll find a suitable car, at a suitable price, and a suitable interest rate... Maybe I'll get to keep my eventual children after all.
